I find the flexability of the stylene plastic is great as a basis, and using the fine steel wire for the finger's bone is great.
The fingers are bend to the pose you want. But remember to leave some room so they could still hold onto items (sword, rifle, etc)
This is the stage I put on the miniput putty. It is a little tricky to put the putty around the steel wire, but not too hard. I find its easier if you let the miniput set for a while, when its not so soft and less sticky, that is the perfect time to do this sort of thing. As you wrap miniput around the wires, you could start to add a bit of details as you go..
When its harden to a certain point, you can start using the art knifes and carve away. This is where the fun starts :D
Details are not yet defined/carved-in, but just testing if the grip is too loose or too hard.
Hmmm.. forgot to take photos of the hands after I finish carving. Will remember to do that when I create more..
